It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrtis Lavern Tanner (Perkinston, Mississippi), born in Wiggins, Mississippi, who passed away on December 19, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Boyt Tanner; and her parents, Dozier Williams and Ida Williams. She is survived by: her children, Gayle Tanner Diamond of Perkinston, MS, William Dozier Tanner of Perkinston, MS and Ronnie Eugene Tanner (Karen) of Perkinston, MS; her stepson Tim Tanner Sr. (Laura) of Perkinston, MS; her brother Raymond W. Williams of Perkinston, MS; and her grandchildren, Amy Diamond Barber (Heath) of Perkinston, MS, Jamie Diamond Fountain (Jeremy) of Perkinston, MS, Jimmy Joe Diamond Jr. (JJ) of Perkinston, MS, Brandon Eugene Tanner (Mandy) of Perkinston, MS and Amber Tanner Morrisette (David) of Perkinston, MS. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
