She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Scarborough and Emma Scarborough; her husband Wallace Ison; her daughter Deborah Ison Carroll; and her siblings, Otis Scarborough, William "Buddy" Scarborough, Glenn Scarborough, Leonard Scarborough, Ethel Reed, Ella Mae Bond, Bernice Bond and Eilene Scarborough.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ruby Ison Carroll (Wayne) and Martha Ison Franklin (Fred). She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren; her 5 great-grandchildren; and her 2 great great-grandchildren.
