He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Mathews and Nancy Mathews (Yost); and his siblings, James Mathews and Michelle "Bee" Mathews. He is survived by: his sisters, Yvonne Mathews Baldwin and Kathy Mathews; and his daughter Tobie Alesich.
