He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Kahl and Louise Kahl; his wife Laverne Kahl; his sister Sally Johnson; and his grandchildren, Douglas Kahl and Mattie Kahl.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Kahl (Alisha) of Perkinston, Don Kahl of Latimer, Byron Kahl (Cile) of Woolmarket and Connie Adamo (A. J.) of Latimer; and his grandchildren, Courtney Payne (Wesley), Colby Kahl, Jayda Kahl, Hunter Kahl, Rachel Hart, Jason Kahl (Andrea), Leah Ward, Michele Kahl, Sydney Kahl, Corey Adamo and Drew Adamo. He is also survived by 14 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren.
