As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Bertha may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wilson and Ruth Wilson; her siblings, Robert, Ottis, Kenneth, Phillip, Frank Wilson, Judy Cuevas and Nell Yandell Knott; and her son-in-law Steve Cobb.
She is survived by: her husband Leland D. Redmond. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sunflower Baptist Church (478 Wire Rd E, Perkinston, MS 39573). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
