He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Quick and Allie Inez Quick; his grandparents, Hubert, Rosa Lee Purvis, James Quick, Oren and Hattie Lott; and his grandson Douglas Hord.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Quick of Pelahatchie, MS; his sons, Mark Daniel and Pookie; his grandchildren, Logan Quick, Sandrea Hord, Madison Fernald (Brandon) and Matthew Scott; and his great grandchildren, Oaklynn Fernald and Katalina Fernald. He is also survived by Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
