He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Huston Cornelison and Mary Kennedy Cornelison; and his children, Johnny Cornelison, Linda Pickard, Richard May and Patrick May.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Stewart Cornelison; his children, Angela Moore, Brenda Prewitt (Bubba), Wanda Cornelison, Brayden May and Kyrie May; and his son-in-law Kevin Pickard. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
