He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Pearl Tuten; and his son Captain Mark Tuten. He is survived by: his brother Sam Tuten; his children, Howard Tuten (Gloria), John Tuten (Sharon) and Betty Ainsworth (Chuck); and his grandchildren, Corey Ainsworth, Brad Tuten (Bonnie), Tracy Tuten, Jason Tuten (Katie), Jade Ryan (Jeremy) and Pete Tuten.
