He was predeceased by: his parents, James Marion Allen and Viola Walker Allen; his daughter Jacqueline Allen Goss; and his siblings, Linda McCurdy, Gwen Stephens, Polly Ann Faulkner, Jimmy Ray Allen, Julian Allen and David Marshall Allen.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn White Allen of Pelahatchie; his children, James Eric Allen and Melissa Hunt of Pelahatchie; his siblings, Helen Blackburn of Morton, Geneva Liddon of Arizona, Jerry Allen (Sharon) of Michigan and Sondria Henderson of Morton; and his grandchildren, Brandie Harmon (James), Quinn Allen (Victoria), Haden Allen (Tristan), Luke Allen, Chase Beemon and Rusty Lantrip. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 1 due in August 2019 and a host of friends.
