He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Tynes Gray; his parents, Otho Gray and Lorena Gray; and his sisters, Hattie Mae Means and Billie Watkins.
He is survived by: his sisters, Willie Dean Lack, Jeannie Bowman (Virgil), Gayle Pettie (Paul) and Patsy Porterfield. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
