He was predeceased by: his parents, Hildred Jones and Nannie Mae Barnes; and his sister Georgie Harvey Brown. He is survived by: his wife T. Joann Jones of Pelahatchie; his children, Robert Jones of Corpus Cove, Mike Edwards, Richard Thornton, Debbie Cunningham of Dallas Ft, Connie Mills of Florence, Angela Thornton of Morton and Lisa Kelly of Morton; his grandchildren, Jeremiah Thornton, Jacob Thornton, Gabby Tibbs, Cristen Polk, Chris Jones, Deirdra White and Catina Johnson; and his sisters, Joesphene Rushton of Mendenhall, MS and Jackie Hedgepeth (Joe Henry) of Brandon. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
