It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rupert Ray Smith of Pearlington, Mississippi, who passed away on May 14, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Smith and Leona Boyet Smith; his son Louis Ray Smith; and his sister Christine Spence. He is survived by: his children, Timothy Smith and Pamela Schill (Kevin); his daughter-in-law Ember Smith; and his grandchildren, Matthew Smith, Drew Smith (Justine), Adam Kirkland (Tiffany), Ryan Smith, Aliana Hunt (Andrew) and Teresa Giveans (John). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
