It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard John Legnon Sr. of Pearlington, Mississippi, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on March 1, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Nicole Legnon Daughdrill (Tom Daughdrill); and his stepson John Hosty. He is survived by: his wife Dusty Legnon; his son Rick Legnon (Richelle Legnon); his stepchildren, Angel Brocato (Michael Brocato), Jay Hosty (Katt Hosty) and Marsha Bastoe; his grandchildren, Emily Legnon, Jack Legnon, Davis Legnon, Benjamin Legnon, Brocato, Mikey, John Medina, Damon Hosty, Selena Hosty, Neva Hosty, Brianna Hosty, Michaela Hosty, Zoie Hosty, Kevin Colson, Kailyn Verley, Scott Bastoe, Eric Bastoe and Wyatt Bastoe; and his siblings, Eddie Legnon (Sherry Legnon), Nancy Doane (late August Doane Sr.) and Barbara Legnon Brown. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation (adhering to social distancing guidelines) on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 from 11:00 a. m. to 1:00 p. m. at Audubon Funeral Home in Slidell.
