She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Henry Baxter; her parents, L. A. Carter and Erline Bradley Carter; and her son-in-law Carey Dedeaux. She is survived by: her daughters, Melissa Burge Dedeaux and Abby Gail McGuire (Jeffrey); and her grandchildren, Daniel McGuire (Chellie), Robin McGuire Anderson (Dusty), Nathan Carter McGuire (Danielle), Lynsey McGuire Davis (Derrick), Nikol Hornke Necaise, Alisa Hornke, Gene Hornke, Rocky Pullman and Sheila McCraney. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
