He was predeceased by: his father Gus David Minga, Sr.; and his siblings, Dorothy Clark, Patricia Spence, Evelyn McKnatt, Larry Minga, Gus D Minga, Jr. and Dean Furlow.

He is survived by: his brother Joe Minga (Joan).
