He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clarence "Ted" Burns and Lillian Hayes Burns; his daughter Sherry Starnes; and his siblings, Bill Burns, Clifton Burns, Clarence Burns, Ronny Burns, Lavon Laird, Marie Lenior, Alvie Myers, Lucille Hicks and Teddy Perere.
He is survived by: his daughters, Toni Fox (Jeff) and Felicia Williams (Bobby); and his grandchildren, Dustin Starnes, Rusti Lynn Jobe, Amanda Sullivan, Savannah Ashley, Andy Fox, Stephanie Barnett and Christina Bellisario. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.
