With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tommy Douglas Thornton (Pearl, Mississippi), who passed away on March 19, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sylvia Ingram Thornton; his mother Winnie Mae Newcomb Thornton; and his brothers, Donald Thornton and Michael Thornton. He is survived by: his sons, Kyle Ingram Thornton (Timberly) of Hattiesburg, MS and Kelly Houston Thornton (Brittany) of Durango, Colorado; his grandsons, Cole Houston Thornton and Turner David Thornton of Durango, Colorado; his brothers, Paul David Thornton (Susan) of Center Ridge, MS and Keith Thornton (Linda) of Pineville, MS; and his brother-in-law Dr. Fred Ingram (Maridel) of Jackson, MS. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
