She was predeceased by: her parents, Duard Rock and Lillie Miller Rock; her daughter Charlotte Taylor; and her siblings, JD, James, Norma, Melford and Mary Lou.

She is survived by: her husband Walter Strong; her children, Carl Hannah (Karen), Angela Foster (Daniel), Montez Carby and Walt Strong Jr. (Sarah); her siblings, Edward Rock and Edna Cates; her grandchildren, Shannon Redwine, Shaun Redwine, Britanie Sammartino, Ryan Hannah, Cecily Carby, Paige Bright, Dallas Bright, Taylor Frederick and Jackson Strong; and her great grandchildren, Jonathan Redwine, Braelynn Redwine, Ryan Lamb and Shanely Frederick. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
