With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel Plunkett of Pearl, Mississippi, who passed away on February 6, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Samuel leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles C. Plunkett and Mary Ruth Plunkett; and his grandson Zachary Loomis. He is survived by: his wife Angie Plunkett; his daughters, Theresa Lenderman (Mike), Emma Mathes (Jessie), Micki Posey, Ruth Fant and Amanda Loomis (Tony); and his sisters, Jean Horne and Eveline Plunkett. He is also survived by twelve grandbabies and 4 great grandbabies.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Baldwin Lee Funeral Home (3780 US-80, Pearl, MS 39208).
