He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Cotton and Lillie Prisock Cotton; his stepfather J. E. Algood; and his sisters, Lois Lewis, Betty Hatcher and Diane Barfield.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Boyd Cotton; his son Timothy; his nephew Roy; and his cousins, Billy and Janie Tew.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lakewood Funeral Home (6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, MS 39209). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
