Hempel; his children, Shirley Hempel and Chris Hempel (Lisa); his siblings, Donna Enloe, Karen Lundt, Mary Koppenhaven, Mike Hempel, Bill Hempel and Glenn Hempel; and his grandchildren, Christon Hempel, Kristina Hempel, Ashley May and Dystine Hale. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
