Nealie Shirley Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2021, at the age of 86, Nealie Shirley (Pearl, Mississippi) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Nealie Shirley to pay them a last tribute.

Nealie was predeceased by: wife Hermine Shirley; daughters, Janie Shirley and Irene Douglas; parents, Nealie Shirley and Birdie Shirley; and siblings, Frank Shirley, Paul Shirley, Faye Dyess and Virginia Stevens.

Nealie is survived by: son John Shirley (Martha); brothers, John Robert Shirley (Patty) and Ernest Shirley; grandchildren, Alisha Scarborough (Zeb), Rachel Shirley and Eric Shirley; and great grandchildren, Rhyder Scarborough, Axel Scarborough and Harlow Scarborough. Nealie is also survived by several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.

Due to the pandemic, there will be military graveside services only at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 25, 2021, with a military rendition of TAPS.
