With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary E. Murray of Pearl, Mississippi, who passed away on September 17, 2022 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Lazarus Rogers and Ellen Viola Collins Rogers; her husbands, Robert Walon Praytor and John Clanton "Lawyer" Murray, Jr.; her siblings, Mildred Eiland (Pete), Maggie Elizabeth Morgan (Earl), Rosanna Rogers, James Niermon Rogers (Phyllis) of Pearl, Collis Joseph Rogers of Pearl, Lazarus Matthew Rogers of Pearl and Nolan Ray Rogers (Shirley) of Pearl; and her grandson Michael Walon Praytor, Jr. (Ernie).
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Ernest Praytor (Lynette) of Ridgeland and Michael Walon Praytor (Suzanne) of Gretna; and her niece Ellen Gilbert Russell. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
Ernie was one of the original parishioners of St. Jude's Catholic Church in Pearl and the family requests that in lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude's Church at 399 Barrow Street in Pearl, Mississippi 39208.
