She was predeceased by: her parents, W. Leonard Hampton and Evelyn Ware Hampton. She is survived by: her husband Robert D. Owens; her children, Terry Calhoun (Troy) of Ohio, Laurie Bergquist (Mike) of Ga, Shineka Johnson of Meridian, Mike Tucker (Lauren) of La, John of Meridian and Nathan Owens of Meridian; her grandchildren, Regan Thomas (Reese) of La, Reina Tucker of La, Samantha Souders (Justin) of Ohio, Jennifer Lawson (Kipp) of Ohio, Ashley Nicole Johnson of Meridian, Ryan Tucker (Madison) of La, Joshua Bergquist of Ga, Kameron Johnson of Meridian and Robert D. Owens II of Meridian; her great grandchildren, Amelia Tucker, Reecie, Rexford Thomas, Hank, Mack and Audrey Souders; and her grandsons, John Neil and Tre'el Martin.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church or a charity of their choice in Linda's memory.
