She was predeceased by: her parents, Shelby Cockrell and Clara Todd Cockrell; her husband Draughn Lee Boone; her son-in-law Billy Collins; and her siblings, Patsy Ann Austin, Deborah Davison, Wendell Cockrell, Stanley Cockrell and Sheila Patterson.

She is survived by: her children, Glenda Collins, Cynthia Thigpen (Jerry Thigpen, Jr.) and Lee Allen Boone; her grandchildren, Justin William Collins, Jordan Lindsey Collins, Jerry "Trey" Thigpen, III and Sheridan Thigpen Bullard; her great grandchild Emery Jade Collins; her brother Charlie Cockrell; and her close friend Jim Yarborough.
