She is survived by: her daughters, Martha Gilbert Hardin of Pearl, Mississippi and Susie Gilbert of Pearl, Mississippi; her close friend Tom Cook; her brothers, Robert Burkes, Jr. of Clarksdale and Glenn Burkes of St. Louis, Missouri; her stepchildren, Vickie Cook Chapman (Donald) of Richland and Thomas Cook (Andrea) of Birmingham, Alabama; her son-in-law Mark Hardin; and her grandchildren, Jagger Atchley and Sara Hardin Buckley (Frank).
