She was predeceased by: her husband Jordan; her parents, Orbie Sims and Mady Sims; and her siblings, Mary, Marjorie, Ouida, Angel, Ralph Lee, Elmer, Roger Dale, Travis and E. J..

She is survived by: her son Jimmy Jordan; her daughter-in-law Kerri of Brandon, MS; her siblings, Dorothy Smith of Brookhaven, MS and Kent Sims (Donna) of League City, TX; and her sister-in-law Nancy Mayes of Forest, MS. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Park Place Baptist Church (5701 US-80, Pearl, MS 39208). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Park Place Baptist Church or to the Park Place Christian Academy library.
