He was predeceased by: his father Joseph H. Cothen, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Stegall Cothen; his children, Gabe Cothen of Hattiesburg, Josh Cothen (Bianca) of Hollis and Shauna Diehl (Adam) of Pearl, Mississippi; his siblings, Cindy Morgan (Keith) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Nathan Cothen (Vicki) of Beaumont, Texas; and his grandchildren, Emma, Camryn, Josie, Austin, Logan Cothen, Kate (Trey Asher), Josh II, Joe, Nora, Mabel, Zarena Cothen, Amanda Rose and Benjamin Diehl. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
