We are sad to announce that on May 26, 2021, at the age of 41, Johnie Renee Schmidt Johnson (Pearl, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Gayle McGrath; and her grandfathers, Bobby Nummy (Mary "Pug") and Herman Schmidt (Amanda). She is survived by: her husband David Johnson; her children, Destiny Johnson Greenberg, Heather Johnson and Jacob Johnson; her grandson Ezekiel Greenberg; her father John Schmidt; her siblings, Sherry Hunt, Brandy Wheatley (Brian), John Schmidt, Jr. and Dustin Schmidt; and her father-in-law Larry Johnson (Debbie). She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.

Memorial donations in memory of Johnie may be made to Andrew Chapel Baptist Church.
