He was predeceased by: his father J. K. Shedd; and his sisters, Edna Murphy and Ann Ragan. He is survived by: his mother Emogene Watson Shedd of Pelahatchie; his wife Lucille Shedd of Pearl; his children, John K. Shedd (Melissa) of Brandon, Jesse W. Shedd (Jeannine) of Pearl, Stephanie C. Gordon (Barry) of Brandon and Michael A. Shedd (Artie) of Overland Park, KS; his grandchildren, Ashley Roper (Jason), Natalie McClendon (Tyler), Blake Gordon (Madison), Justin Shedd (Candace), Haley Cowan (Triston), Tyler Gordon and J. K. Shedd; his great grandchildren, Adalynn Roper, Myles, Paxton McClendon, Ivy, Hayes Gordon, Cohen Shedd and Jaxon Cowan; and his siblings, Betty Wilson of Mobile, Ray Shedd of Pelahatchie, Rita Myers (Ralph), Nita Payne (Ricky) of Lena, Cindy Welch (Johnny) of Pelahatchie and Roy Shedd of Pelahatchie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
