It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Michael Deer (Pearl, Mississippi), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on May 8, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jones Deer and Helen Roberts Deer; and his siblings, Edward Deer and Jo Ann Deaton. He is survived by: his wife Beth Clark Deer; his children, Chris, Georgia Deer, Beth, Josh Torrence, Ryan and Taylor Deer; his grandchildren, Sadie Deer, Peyton Torrence, Luke Deer, Garrett Deer, Brady Torrence, Ruthie Deer, Joy Deer, Joshua Deer, Avery Torrence, Merry Deer, Charity Deer, Mercy Deer, Justice Deer, Thomas Deer and Asher Deer; and his brother Ralph Deer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many adopted children.
