She was predeceased by: her parents, J. L. Mahaffey and Ruth Barlow Mahaffey; her husbands, James Throne, Sr. and Bobby Bridges; her son James Throne, Jr.; her sisters, Louise Faden and Edna Mae Breazeale; and her pet Minnie Pearl.
She is survived by: her children, John Throne, Sr. (Rhonda), Barbara Pryor (Jimmy), Sharon Barry (Anthony), Sandra Yelverton (Tony) and Jennifer May (Richie); her sister Mary Ruth Crocker; and her niece Cindy. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home (3780 US-80, Pearl, MS 39208). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
