With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Ellis Netherland of Pearl, Mississippi, who passed away on September 14, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lessie Cliburn Netherland and James "Mitty" William Milton Netherland; and his siblings, Edward, Christine, Lerlene, Nell, Mildred, Blanche, Eula, John Earl and Jean.

He is survived by: his wife Alice "Jean" Amason Netherland; his son Jeffery "Jeff" Netherland (Wendy); and his grandchildren, Shelby Leigh Netherland, Zachary "Zach" Cole Netherland and Jesse Logan Netherland. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
