Evelyn left this world on August 18, 2024 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, L. V. McRee and Elizabeth Buckley McRee; her husband Jack Dennis; her son Kenny Dennis; and her siblings, R. L. McRee, Cornell McRee and Lou Jones.

She is survived by: her sons, Keith Dennis (Lynn), Kyle Dennis (Angela) of Pearl, Mike Dennis of Brandon, David Dennis of Tennessee and Jimmy Dennis of California; her daughter-in-law Lynn Sistrunk Dennis; her grandchildren, Coby Dennis (Amy), Candice Gore (Mark), Justin Dennis (Natalie), Courtney King (Bryan), Haley Mangum (Marcus), Brad Dennis, Becky Dennis and Michelle Boone (Jonathan); and her great grandchildren, Natalie, Hayden, Hazel King, Wyatt, Weston, Waverleigh, Wisteria Gore, Sydney Dennis, Linden, Nellie Kate Mangum and Jack Dennis. She is also survived by numerous extended family members, nieces, nephews, and friends.
