He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Marshall Rigdon and Elsie Holt Rigdon; and his siblings, Verna McDade, Lavonia Russell, Denver Rigdon, Ilene Reece, Duvall Rigdon and Sula Williamson.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Rigdon; his sister Alfa Gilmore; his children, Pam McLeod (Mel), Joy Ming (Steve) and Tim Rigdon; his grandchildren, Ami Davis (Jody), Ashlie Garland (Dru), Joshua Ming (Hannah), Cayman Rigdon, Whitney Rigdon and Zane Rigdon; his great grandchildren, Hunter Davis (Brooke), Caden Davis, Leif Ming, Magazine Garland, Clementine Ming and Emmett Ming; his son Hunter Briggs Davis; and his pet Shug.
