She was predeceased by: her husband Doug Merchant; her daughter Darling Merchant Sullivan; her parents, J. W. White and Ruby Lee Gentry White; her brother Don White; and her mother-in-law Hester Merchant.
She is survived by: her daughter Leia Merchant Cooper (Marshall) of Pearl; her grandchildren, Chase Sullivan of Mount Olive and Brandi Sullivan of Mount Olive; and her great grandchildren, Austin Sullivan and Lauren Sullivan.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home (3202 US 49, Collins, MS 39428). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:15 PM at the Ora Cemetery (1731 Sunset Rd, Collins, MS 39428).
