It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delores Griffin of Pearl, Mississippi, who passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Delores departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Delores may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Delores leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parent Alvis Griffin; and her brother Michael Laverne Griffin. She is survived by: her mother Myrtle Griffin (Delores); her brother Dennis Griffin (Cindy); and her nephew Brian Griffin (Tiffany). She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grandview Baptist Church.
