He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Alexander Hudson and Geneve Greenlee Hudson; his wife Janie Lou Lewis Hudson; his siblings, David Edward Hudson and Sara Nell Hudson Zebert; his son Michael Sidney Hudson; and his nephews, David Edward Zebert and Alan Dale Zebert.

He is survived by: his son Charles Albert of Pearl; his grandchildren, Charles Sidney Hudson II (CJ), Spencer James Hudson and Kathryn Sophia Hudson of Slidell, LA; and his nephew Don Zebert of Pearl, MS..
