He was predeceased by: his parents, Ephraim Sims and Annie Mae Sims. He is survived by: his wife Martha Sims of Pearl; his children, Chris Sims (Marleusa) of Pearl, Scott Sims (Alyssa) of Byram and Ginger Mauldin (Daniel) of Pisgah; his grandchildren, Haley Heuer (Justin), Ashley White (Anthony), Brianna Mclemore, Cameron Malone (Emily), Kade Sims, Gabriel, Silva and João Vitor; his great grandchildren, Avery White, Dawson Cole, Gannon Heuer, Rylee Heuer, Madelyn Heuer, Harlow Malone and Maddux Malone; his sisters-in-law, Charlotte Sanderson (Chris), Susan Stringer (Kevin) and Donna Parker; his siblings, Frances Parker (Rufus Parker) and Bobby Sims; and his brothers-in-law, Jimmy Parker and David Parker.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home (3780 US-80, Pearl, MS 39208). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Providence Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
