With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Ray Yates of Pearl, Mississippi, who passed away on February 17, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father William Jay Yates. He is survived by: his wife Lorelei Ann Yates; his daughters, Kimberley Renee Yates and Stacey Lynn Smith; his brothers, Jarret Wayne Yates (Nancy), Ricky Shannan Yates and Kenneth Wade Yates (Shelia); and his grandchildren, William Tyler Smith and Zackery Taylor Smith. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
