She was predeceased by: her parents, George Pierce and Blanchie Dale. She is survived by: her husband Ira Thigpen; her children, Kenneth Thigpen and Charlene Pierce; and her siblings, Michael Pierce, Zenobia Townsend, Jerry Jones, Geneva McDonald and Sandra Cooley. She is also survived by two grandchildren, two great grandchildren as well as other family and friends.
