We bid farewell to Vernon Lee Middleton of Pass Christian, Mississippi, born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 8, 2024 at the age of 74. Vernon touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Griscom and Nona Lee Middleton (Wilkins); his grandparents, George Andrew, Rena Dimple Wilkins (McIntyre), Everett Garth and Bessie Mary Middleton (Miller); his sister Elizabeth Faye Gooden; his daughter Karen Beatrice Fountain (Spiers); and his grandson Hunter Marx Middleton.

He is survived by: his son Hilton Middleton (Rebecca) of Bay St; and his sisters, Mary Smith-Ried (Don) of Pass Christian, MS, Margaret Ownby of Corryton, TN and Sarah Breland of Saucier, MS. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
