He was predeceased by: his father Donald Benson. He is survived by: his mother Patsy Benson; his wife Edith Benson; his son Bryant Benson; his grandchildren, Kathryn Jenkins (Terry), Brian Smith (Quyen), Michael Smith (Lacey) and Jason Smith (Vaew); and his sisters, Sue Medeiros (Mike) and Amy Benson Squire (Scott). He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
