She was predeceased by: her husband William R. Matkin, Sr.; her parents, Judge Paul and Edwina Stephens; her sister Pat Ratliff; and her grandson Andrew Gallagher.
She is survived by: her children, William R. Matkin, Jr. and Diane Henderson (Larry); and her grandchildren, Scott Niolet (Jennifer), Robert Niolet (Alicia), Tyler Gallagher (Stacy Tobin), Taylor Matkin, Shirley Dane (John F.), Margeaux Harvey (Jon), Meredith Carr (Jake) and Lauren Sullivan (Jay). She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces.
