She is survived by: her sister Kianna; her parents, Stacie Dedeaux-Simmons (Edward) of Denver, CO and Paul Gates, Jr. of Memphis, TN; her sister Keisha Pierre (Aaric Kipp) of Garden City, KN; her grandparents, Cynthia Hightower of Delisle, MS, Paul Gates, Sr. and Hattie Hayes (Herbert); her aunt Paula Gray (Gary); her uncles, Dean Dedeaux (Monica) of Huntsville, AL, Shawn Dedeaux (Lisa) of La Quinta, CA, David Hightower, Sr. (Auriella) of Rockford, IL, Marvin Hightower (Jeredean) of Rockford, IL, Greg Peters of Gulfport, MS, Joshua Gates of Gulfport, MS, Jonathan Gates of Gulfport, MS and Robert Brown (Tracy) of Gulfport, MS; her godmother Tenisha Jones of Lavon, TX; her close friend Josiah Thomas of Bay Minette, AL; and her sister McKynli Roberts of Pass Christian, MS. She is also survived by many loving extended family members and dear friends.
