He was predeceased by: his parents, Phebie Roberts Payne and Johnnie Williams Sr.; his wife Patricia Celestine Williams; his siblings, John "Louis" Payne Jr., Barbara Payne Overby, Yvonne Payne, Patricia "Patsy" Payne Biggs and Dorothy Payne; and his godmother Laura "Nannan" Cappie Dedeaux.
He is survived by: his children, Johnny Jenee (Lilya), Patrice W. Booker of Johnny Williams, III. and Lilya Jenee Keeton (Joshua) of Houston, TX.; his grandchildren, Deja Booker, Christopher Booker Jr., Jolie Keeton, Jackson Keeton and Jasmine Booker; his sisters-in-law, Germaine Payne of Carson, CA, Mary L. Harper (James) of Garland, TX and Verna Mae Celestine of Breaux Bridge, LA; and his nephew Darryl J. Payne.
