He is survived by: his children, Nick DeMetz and Katie DeMetz Coats (Alex); his mother Marie DeMetz McGee; his sisters, Donna Alleman (Iris), Jennifer Zambrano (Alirio) and Sheryl Moore (Chip); his nieces and nephews, Jarrod, Madeline Alleman, Alexandra Zambrano Forseth (Kiefer), Gabriella Zambrano Hill (Mickey), Vanessa Zambrano, Margot Moore Dutel (Travis), Mac and Zachary Moore; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Iris, Olivia Hill and Niall Dutel; and the mother of his children Kim DeMetz Previto (James).
