He is survived by: his wife Amelia L. Parks; his son Gerald F. Parks, Jr.; his grandsons, Justin Parks (Tiffany), Eric Rucker (Leah) and Gary Rucker; and his great grandchildren, Simon Rucker, Madalyn Parks, Lucy Rucker, Vivian Rucker and Felix Rucker.
