It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Wayne Hoda Sr. of Pass Christian, Mississippi, born in Kiln, Mississippi, who passed away on March 23, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Hoda and Louise Hoda. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Traven Hoda, Thomas Hoda, Sydney Godwin, Emily Arnold, Connor Arnold, Christopher Arnold, Danielle James (Kyle), Dalton Hamby (Kayla), Allyson Perkins Hopgood (Tristan), Brooke and Tommy Shoemaker; and his siblings, Emmi Dubuisson (Roger), Phillip and Mike Hoda. He is also survived by loving extended family, including many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Annunciation Catholic Church (5370 Kiln Delisle Rd, Kiln, MS 39556). A burial was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 12:15 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (1000 Kapalama Dr, Diamondhead, MS 39525).
