He was predeceased by: his parents, Stella Gamard and Edward Gamard Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Kristy (Glines), Lindsey (Rock), Allyson (Caridad), Edward IV and Chuck; his grandchildren, Edison, Scarlett, Cooper and Ean; and his siblings, Judy Carr, Lulu Rodrigue and Richard.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holy Family Parish (22342 Evangeline Rd, Pass Christian, MS 39571). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Live Oak Cemetery (125 Church Ave, Pass Christian, MS 39571).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Edward's name to the Holy Family Parish.
